Wholesale Accounts

Retailers who have a physical shop and/or an online store are eligible for our wholesale program FD Marketplace (FDM) and can sign up for an account:

  1. On fdmarketplace.com, our wholesale site. Upon approval, your account will be created and you will receive your login information.

  2. Through a Sales Representative (Sales Rep) in your area.

  3. On Faire at felixdoolittle.faire.com in select markets.

Territory Protection Policy

We review each new account on a case-by-case basis, taking into account volume, region, type of store, and product offering. A retailer with multiple locations should submit each individual location for approval.

Pricing

All prices shown on fdmarketplace.com are in US dollars. When logged into your account, you will be able to view wholesale pricing and minimum quantities.

Wholesale pricing is 50% off the retail price and applies to non-personalized items and personalized Address Labels and Bookplates. Other personalized items are 30% off the retail price. Wholesale pricing may not be combined with promotions on our parent site felixdoolittle.com.

Ordering and Backordering

Opening orders with non-personalized items require a $150 minimum. Repeat orders with non-personalized items require a $100 minimum.

Special conditions may apply if an order is placed on hold by request of the retailer or if the order contains backordered items. You will be notified of items that are backordered. Backorders will ship separately once items are back in stock unless you contact us. Payment for backorders will process shortly before shipping and shipping charges will apply.

Payments

All first orders must be paid in full prior to shipment. Net 30 terms are offered through Sales Reps only with approval from Felix Doolittle. 

Payments for FDM orders can only be made by credit card. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted. Credit card charges will appear on your statement as Felix Doolittle.

Payments for orders through Sales Reps can be made by check (preferred) or credit card. Returned checks due to insufficient funds will be charged a $30 fee. Late payments will incur a late fee of 10% per month.

International orders on fdmarketplace.com must be paid by wire transfer or US money order and must arrive in US currency. Any fees associated with the money transfer must be covered in the amount sent.

The customer is responsible for shipping and handling costs.

Payments for orders WITHOUT personalized items will be processed prior to shipping. Payments for orders WITH personalized items placed on FDM will be processed when orders are received.

Fulfillment

We strive to fulfill orders within these turnaround times:

  • Occasion Cards: 1–2 days
  • Non-personalized items: 1–3 days
  • Personalized items: 2–5 business days (time may extend if there is back and forth communication with the retailer and end-customer)

During the holiday season (October to December), we try to maintain 1-3 day turnaround time for non-personalized orders. Personalized orders may require 7-10 business days.

Turnaround times do not include shipping time, which is based on your selected carrier at checkout.

Shipping

All orders, domestic and international, are shipped via UPS or the United States Postal Service (USPS) from our studio in West Newton, Massachusetts.

Shipping costs are determined in your shopping cart at checkout. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout. A nominal handling fee will be added to all orders in addition to the shipping cost. Any duties or customs fees are the responsibility of the retailer.

Felix Doolittle is not responsible for any shipping carrier delays.

Cancellations and Changes

Cancellations and changes to an order must be submitted by phone or email within 24 hours of placing the order to receive a full refund. Any cancellations of or reductions to an order beyond 24 hours will incur a 15% restocking fee.

Returns and Exchanges

Returns must be reported and postmarked within 5 business days of receipt. The returned merchandise must be unused, and in resalable condition to receive credit. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Personalized items cannot be returned. 

Incorrect, Damaged or Lost Shipments

Incorrect or damaged merchandise must be reported by phone or email within 5 business days of receipt. Please save all contents and packing materials. We will make every effort to replace the merchandise in a timely manner.
A monetary refund will not be given. Shipments that have been determined to be lost, after thoroughly researching through delivery confirmation tracking, will be replaced.

If Felix Doolittle makes an error on a personalized order, we will remake and resend the item without charge. An error made by the retailer or their customer that needs to be remade will be charged at 30% off the wholesale price. The discount applies to one iteration, and any additional changes to the original order will qualify as a new order and will be charged in full.

Membership

Felix Doolittle reserves the right to refuse orders or terminate approved accounts not in compliance at any time,
given a 30-day written notice is provided to members.

Selling on Amazon, Ebay, Etsy or other third party websites is prohibited.

All online stores must credit Felix Doolittle on any Felix Doolittle products listed for sale. 

Wholesale memberships will expire after one year if there is no account activity.
